I was privileged enough to receive two passes to the advanced screening of The hobbit part 2.

It was phenomenal.

As always the elves and the dwarves are my favorite. The elves for their elegance, intelligence, magic and amazing fight skills. And the dwarves for their humour and never give up attitude.

The animation on the dragon is amazing, another credit to living in this day and age I suppose.

But most of all, I was absolutely floored by Evangeline Lilly’s performance. The Alberta born actress donned long red locks and practically danced while fighting, she was an absolute joy to watch. It seems we’ll be hearing a lot about her from here on out, America move over, your little brother to the north is sending you some serious talent.

Get lots of snacks. Take your SCENE card, and get your asses to the hobbit on Thursday! It’s so worth the money!
