Who says you have to be gay to accept and love someone who is different? I’ve had so many people ask me, “so are you gay? I mean you have a lot of gay friends?”
How badly do I want to retort,
“So are you an asshole? Cause you have lots of asshole friends?”
The old adage “you are what you hang with” probably only resonates true for someone in a small town in the middle of nowhere.
This is Canada. North America. We were supposedly founded on the idea that freedom was achievable. Our society is not only multicultural it’s multi sexual as is the whole world as has been for years it’s just that no one has had the balls to talk about it, and rightly so if you saw was done to some of those people in the past. But nonetheless we’re in a time where free speech is not only an idea it is a right.
And I want to say no, I’m not gay, but I couldn’t live without my gay friends! I love you sassy bitches!!
