It was an honour and privilege to walk for Queen Boutique and Silla Designs ( https://m.facebook.com/SillaDesignsCalgary ) by Ashley Wong in the SPLASH FASHION SHOW by YYC FASHION WEEK. The feature designer was Raul Manriquez.
Myself and 19 other models were cast about a month in advance based 100% on height, walk, and catwalk presence. It was great to see a few familiar faces, my darling red head friend Eloise, my Ebony skinned diva Grace, the lovely and long legged Jen and the stunning Katerina. I also had a chance to meet a couple upcoming models, Shannon Stewart and Gemma Dahl. Both of whom nailed their catwalks.
Our hair was done by the amazing Jason Mellor of Edges Salon and Spa, assisted by the beautiful Skylar Valkenburg.

I LOVE working with the Edges team. They are my go to for hair, and they can tame my mane in little to no time. Masters of their craft I assure you.
Our makeup was done by the stunning ladies from Mira Pucchi, mine personally done by Mariam Akbar. They used a new product on all the models lips called Stilla, the colour stayed on forever! I would definitely recommend it. (Available at shoppers drug mart and sephora)

To my knowledge no models fell in the pool (thank god) but we did have a wonderful time strutting our stuff like we’re walking on water.
