RIP Red Squirrel

Three cats had this little guy cornered outside. I picked him up, his little paws clung to my hands. I brought him inside and he began to squeak loudly.I have never heard a squirrel make a sound before. I put him on a blanket and started cleaning his wounds. His eyes were filled with light while I cleaned him, but he died shorty after. I’m sorry little squirrel friend I tried to save you x

  I know….. I hate being too late! At least he didn’t die as a toy for the kitties… He died with loving hands trying to clean him, I buried him in the backyard 😦
