The Edmonton Oilers joined the NHL in 1979. They have won 5 Stanley cup championships, and boast having the greatest hockey player of all time, Wayne Gretzky (who’s jersey I wear below)
I was privy to be on whyte ave during the blue mile in 2006, you Oilers fans are pretty dedicated.
Their home arena is Rexall Place.
The season ended over the weekend as the team said goodbye to longtime player Smyth. Who knows what will be in store for the Oilers next year?
The boys wear white, orange and Blue.

Just came across your blog and I love the photos! I am a huge Oilers fan so I appreciate your love for the team. I am an avid hockey fan but also a fan of business entrepreneurs like Daryl Katz. His family pharmacy empire grew tenfold under his direction and management. He paid $200 million for the Edmonton Oilers . in 2008 and he is currently working to refocus his efforts to build Canada’s largest mixed use-sports and entertainment district. He is by far one of the most successful businessmen in North America. I am looking forward to seeing how he helps to take this team to the next level and what is next venture will be. He is really focusing on helping Edmonton become a fantastic tourist destination.
